Storyverse Film School Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Draft note: This document is a working draft for Storyverse Inc. and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before public launch.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Storyverse Film School, including our courses, lessons, collections, Skill Hub, skill packages, downloadable materials, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

The Service is operated by Storyverse Inc. ("Storyverse," "we," "us," or "our"). If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at hello@storyverseai.art.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Storyverse Film School provides educational content and practical resources for AI filmmaking. The Service may include:

  • Video lessons and course collections.
  • Resource links, templates, prompts, and reference materials.
  • A Skill Hub containing README documentation and downloadable skill packages for use with your own agents or workflows.
  • Public pages, category pages, tag pages, indexes, and agent-friendly resources such as Markdown or JSON indexes.

The MVP version of the Service may not include user accounts, paid subscriptions, user uploads, creator submissions, community features, or personalized learning progress. We may add some of these features in the future, and additional terms may apply when they become available.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Accounts

The MVP version of the Service may be available without creating an account. If we introduce accounts in the future, you may be required to provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.

If accounts are introduced, you will be responsible for activity under your account unless the activity is caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

The MVP version of the Service may be free to access. We may introduce paid courses, subscriptions, paid downloads, API/CLI access, or other paid offerings in the future.

If paid offerings are introduced, we will provide the applicable pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms before you purchase. Additional payment terms may apply.

6. Storyverse Content

The Service contains content owned by Storyverse or its licensors, including course materials, lessons, text, graphics, design elements, videos, documentation, website content, and related materials ("Storyverse Content").

Except as expressly allowed by these Terms or by a separate written permission, you may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, redistribute, or resell Storyverse Content as a competing educational product.
  • Remove copyright, trademark, or attribution notices.
  • Use Storyverse branding, names, or logos in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without permission.
  • Scrape, bulk download, or systematically extract content from the Service except through public agent indexes or downloads that we intentionally provide.

You may use publicly available educational content for your own learning, internal reference, and production workflows.

7. Skill Packages

Storyverse may provide downloadable skill packages through the Skill Hub. Unless a specific skill package includes a separate license or notice, Storyverse grants you permission to use, copy, modify, distribute, and integrate Storyverse-provided skill packages into your own agents, tools, projects, and commercial or non-commercial workflows without payment to Storyverse.

This permission does not grant you rights to:

  • Use Storyverse trademarks, logos, or branding to imply endorsement.
  • Misrepresent that your modified version is an official Storyverse release.
  • Use any third-party content included in a skill package beyond the rights that apply to that third-party content.

Skill packages are provided for convenience and experimentation. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any skill package before using it in production.

8. Third-Party Services and Materials

The Service may use or link to third-party services, including YouTube, Supabase, Notion, Google Drive, and, in the future, Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.

Third-party services are not controlled by Storyverse. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, tools, models, storage services, embeds, or external links.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe or misappropriate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, our systems, or third-party systems.
  • Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service.
  • Use automated systems to scrape or harvest content except through endpoints or downloads that we intentionally make available for that purpose.
  • Distribute malware, harmful code, or deceptive content.
  • Use the Service or skill packages to facilitate illegal, abusive, or harmful activities.

10. No Professional Advice

The Service provides educational and informational content. It does not provide legal, financial, employment, production safety, or professional advice. You are responsible for your own creative, technical, legal, and business decisions.

11. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We may update courses, skills, documentation, features, indexes, packages, or resource links.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting the updated Terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Disclaimers

The Service, Storyverse Content, skill packages, documentation, links, and downloads are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storyverse disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
  • Any lesson, skill package, README, resource link, or external service will meet your requirements.
  • Any skill package will work with every agent, model, tool, runtime, or workflow.
  • Any output produced by using a skill package or third-party AI tool will be accurate, safe, lawful, or suitable for your use.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storyverse Inc. and its officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storyverse's total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid to Storyverse for the Service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose; or
  • USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Storyverse Inc. and its officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service.
  • Your use, modification, distribution, or deployment of skill packages.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Storyverse or others, or used the Service in a harmful or unlawful way.

If accounts are introduced in the future, you may stop using the Service or close your account according to the account settings we provide.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

This section should be finalized before public launch after confirming Storyverse Inc.'s governing jurisdiction and dispute resolution preferences.

Until then, nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your jurisdiction.
